Each Tuesday we wear our Hanawalt Spirit Wear or blue to show our Hawk Pride.

These students were recognized for modeling Habit 3, Put First Things First. We celebrate their ability to set goals and focus toward meeting their goals.

The Hanawalt PTA will be hosting a Book Swap for students on December 21st. Students will be able to bring in books for the swap the week prior.

Des Moines Public Schools will be on Winter Break from December 23-January 2. Hanawalt Staff wishes you a blessed Holiday Season and a joyous Winter Break.

Our 2nd and 3rd graders are going to enjoy the Nutcracker on Friday, December 16th.

Join us for the December 13th PTA Meeting. Executive Board meets 6:00-6:30. The General Meeting starts at 6:30.
