Over and Under and Claude Monet Art

Mrs. Sheeley has been busily working with Mrs. Albert’s class and having so much fun in Art this year! Each student has grown exponentially in their artistic skills, perseverance, and love of creativity. They have finished off a weaving unit that began with paper weaving and developed their skills of working “over and under,” like the slithering of a snake and the jumping of a frog. The unit culminated with cardboard loom yarn weaving constructed to either create a bookmark or a bracelet. The students have continued on learning about Claude Money by creating model magic frogs with painted lily pads!

Students were proud of their work and did an incredible job! Total rockstars! Keep it up! Take a look at the results.
