A Great Day for a Kickball Fundraiser and a Block Party

Hanawalt students and staff enjoyed a great Fall afternoon last Friday as a student vs staff kickball game took place on the playground.  The school’s annual kickball game coincides with the PTA’s book fair and block party later that evening.  Both events raise money for the school. Mrs. Esch’s class edged out the teacher team by one run in a late game come from behind win.  The block party featured a photo booth, inflatable slides, juggling, a book fair, food trucks, music, and so much more it would be hard to name them all.  Hanawalt had a great turn out for both events.
