K-2 Fun Day Relays
The K-2 students at Hanawalt enjoyed their annual version of the Bloom Camp Relays by having a Fun Day Relay. All students were able to participate in several activities including a tire roll, a “tank” relay in cardboard boxes, and a tug-o-war to name a few of events. Today represents an opportunity for these students to experience several different types of activities without the pressure of winning or losing. It is more of an exploratory event for them and a chance for them to get out and move. This day caps off another successful day and year of organizing fundamental movement activities for K-2 students by Mr. Baker as he looks forward to his retirement at the end of this school year.
