DMPS Annual Art Exhibit

Some students from Hanawalt recently participated in Des Moines Public Schools’ Annual Art Exhibit on Thursday, May 5th at Franklin Jr. High. The reception was held to help celebrate the visual arts for K-12 students in Des Moines. The exhibit was on display from April 26- May 6.

Students that were showcased from Hanawalt were 2nd grade Henley and Mana, 3rd grade Madi and Hentricia, 4th grade Louise, June and Martin and  5th grade Jamal, Ruby and Giulianee. The students’ art work will be transferred to a new location to be on display until September. The site has yet to be determined.
