Unveiling of Hanawalt’s Collaborative Art Project

Each semester the students at Hanawalt choose a club. It ranges from many things including Minecraft to yoga. One particular clun is student celebrations. This club meets and plans out the school-wide celebration assemblies at the end of each month, which also means they get to be in front of the whole school working on their public speaking skills.

This January they brainstormed an idea to start a collaborative art project after the school received 100 Soaring Hawks for showing leadership and responsibility through each of their classrooms around the school. The Student Celebration Club decided to create a poster of feathers, each of them different, each of them designed and representing a unique individual here at Hanawalt. Showing the school that even though we are individuals we are all one!
